BAKE, BROIL, GRILL, PAN FRY, DEEP FRY OR SAUTE
To Thaw: Place frog legs in a bowl of cool water until completely thawed or place in refrigerator for 24 hours until thawed.
Simple Preparation Instructions: For best taste and texture, prepare in deep fryer.
Deep Fry: Heat oil in fryer to 350°F. Dredge frog legs in seasoned breading mixture. Place single layer of frog legs in fryer (do not crowd). Cook for approximately 2 1/2 -3 165°F. Remove from oil and drain before serving.
Bake: Preheat conventional oven to 425°F. Season frog legs with salt, pepper, and butter or margarine. Place frog legs in a lightly greased shallow baking dish. Back for approximately 6 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Turn and cook for and additional 3 to 5 minutes to brown on both sides or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
