ORANGE GLAZED CRISPY SALMON
This one-pan recipe brings together our salmon fillets with blood orange juice, zest, agave syrup, and butter for a simple yet impressive dish.
INGREDIENTS
2 | Sea Best® Salmon Fillets |
4 | tablespoons olive oil |
1 | bunch fresh rosemary |
| juice and zest of 1 blood orange |
1 | tablespoon agave syrup |
1 | tablespoon butter |
2 | green onions, thinly sliced on the bias |
DIRECTIONS
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a medium pan, heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil on medium-high until hot. Pull all leaves from rosemary stems and cook in oil until crispy, set aside.
- In the same pan add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add the seasoned salmon fillets and cook 4 to 5 minutes on the first side, or until browned. Flip the fillets and add the blood orange juice and zest, agave syrup, and butter to the pan. Continue cooking and occasionally basting the glaze over the fillet, 2 to 3 minutes or until the salmon is coated and cooked to your desired degree of doneness.
- To serve, top salmon fillets with reduced sauce and garnish with the
fried rosemary and green onions.
